Who Are We?
Who Are We
I’m a competitive dog agility handler, and have succeeded in reaching multiple Kennel Club Grand Finals with my Australian Shepherd, Koro.
Alongside competing, I’m studying for a diploma in Dog Behaviour with the British College of Canine Studies, as well as having completed specialist courses in Behavioural Adjustment Training (BAT) for reactivity, aggression, and frustration; tackling resource-guarding; and the use of play as a powerful training tool.
Koro is more than a competition partner – she’s also my fully qualified working assistance dog, accredited by the Assistance Dog Assessment Association (ADAA). I trained her to this standard myself.
My philosophy is simple: dogs learn best when training is fun, rewarding, and rooted in mutual respect. Through games, rewards, and play, I help owners build a working partnership with their dogs – one that makes daily life enjoyable and fulfilling for both sides. Every dog is a working dog at heart. If “being your pet” is their job, I’ll help them become world-class at it – happily, safely, and with enthusiasm.

															Meet Koro

Koro is my teammate, my assistance partner, and – like many dogs do – has changed my life for the better.
Her training in both agility and assistance work demands a wide set of skills from her: precision, self-control, partnership, emotional regulation, and passion. In return, she’s taught me lessons far beyond the ring:
- Meet each dog exactly where they are
- Laugh at mistakes (sometimes they’re the best part)
- Celebrate progress, no matter how small
- Offer sincere apologies to anyone whose picnic has been stolen (thankfully, that’s history)
- Remember that play and work can be the same thing
And plenty more. Koro isn’t just a dog – she’s the reason I do what I do, and the inspiration I bring to every dog–owner partnership I work with.
